With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Edgar Gonzalez is a patient- focused physician specializing in general medicine and pediatric medicine, providing high quality, personal levels of health care to patients in all clinical environments. Dr. Gonzalez is a Cuban doctor graduated from The Institute of Medical sciences of Cuba, in 2004. After moving to the United States, Dr. Gonzalez continued his education as a medical doctor, later graduating from Puerto Rico school of medicine in 2016. Dr. Gonzalez started South Miami Medical and Research Group out of his desire to make a difference in the community by providing patients with not only medical care, but memories that will last a lifetime.
Maria Chang was born in Cuba where she studied Economy and Accounting. She has worked in several prestigious companies and thoroughly enjoys a family environment where she can help others. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Management in 2014, and now she is doing her Master's in Psychology. Her experience since then includes working as a customer experience manager, dental specialist and seven years as healthcare administrator.
